Refund Policy for Astronomy Viewing Sessions

At Dark Sky, we strive to provide the best possible stargazing experience. However, astronomy viewing sessions are subject to weather conditions that may impact visibility. Below is our refund policy in the event of unfavorable weather:

1. Weather Cancellations:

• If a session is canceled due to bad weather (e.g., heavy clouds, rain, storms), participants will have the option to:

  • Reschedule for a future session (subject to availability), OR

  • Receive a full refund.
    

2. Partial Visibility:

• If the session proceeds but visibility is significantly compromised (e.g., intermittent cloud cover), participants may receive a partial refund or a discount on a future session at our discretion.
  

3. Decision Timing:

• The final decision to cancel a session due to weather will be made by Dark Sky at least 2 hours before the session start time.

• Participants will be notified via [email/phone/text] regarding any cancellations or changes.
  

4. Refund Process:

• Refunds will be processed within 4 business days through the original payment method.

• If a participant opts for rescheduling, the new date must be selected within 2 days of the original session.
  

5. No-show Policy:

• If a participant fails to attend a scheduled session without prior notice, no refund or rescheduling option will be provided.
  

By booking a session, participants acknowledge and agree to this refund policy. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to sharing the wonders of the night sky with you!
